Thanks Guys, she was doing OK with Diabetes even when on Dialysis, but when the Alzheimer's set in she went quick. and Yes she passed peacefully in her sleep.
so now I am working on getting back to Aurora so I can fly out to California for the Memorial Services my Sisters are planning.

Ive been getting seriously weird runs lately, picking up or delivering early am then dropping late or early. This load I delivered today in Batesville, AR was scheduled tomorrow 330am and I used my charm and good looks and got a dock door right away and then hauled my butt to little rock so I can washout trailer, what a mess!!!! Those chicken drums are so messy grease was everywhere I could skate around inside like Chilly Willy on ice. Got a PPLN for another load picking up tomorrow 2 picks and deliver around B-Ham, for almost 400 miles deliver friday! Not bad considering small runs, I have a carry over load from Monte Vista I picked up Sat. Glad I got something staying out of the bad weather for now! Be safe people, check your trucks and spend a little extra on pre trip it will only help. BTW, It was so cold in Monte Vista that my Reefer would not stay running tell I got down to 30f out. I should be dropping this in our yard to get looked at. I need service to so looks like I might be in New Albany Friday afternoon. Out!

Hope no body got stuck down in DFW area. Got lucky ran a Tyson load to NOCS in laporte TX Thursday morning del. delivered that load and was surprised when i got a PPLN to pick up at the Con agra Dry warehouse in Ft Worth. Was supposed to pick up Friday Morning, hauled ### back to ft worth get there 1730 Thursday check in on the load. got lucky it was ready early.

Got it but had to spend the night on the street outside there. course woke up Friday morning to 2+ inches of ice after de icing the truck i slowly but surely made my way out of the ft worth area and got headed north on 287 man was that a rough ride on that ice. finally made it past Rhome TX and the roads started improving. and now sitting here at Johnsons Corner waiting to del at wally world in loveland in the AM.

 

Well, you got lucky as all get-out Cyber... I didn't get so lucky... I finally made it to N. Little Rock, AR on friday about noon, was supposed to have been there friday at 0800... Had a load of furniture from New Albany... They didn't unload me till Saturday morning... The store manager and a gal employee was the only ones that made it in... Store manager unloaded me... They've got a pre-plan on me to dead-head all the way down to De Queen to pick up a Pilgrim Pride load... Supposed to take it to King Soopers in Denver... Roads down toward De Queen are still a mess, still sitting in Little Rock right now, debating on whether I want to chance it... I know I could make it to De Queen, but, I don't know which way I'm gonna run out of there without hitting all this crap... Then on top of all that, my right windshield is leaking and it's to cold to run silicon on it and get it to cure, and my Qual-Com decided it wanted to take a crap on me... Can't get it to respond to touch, can't control the cursor... So, I'm just having more fun than a barrel of monkeys...

 

Oh, I know that some of our guys did get stuck in Dallas/Ft. Worth... Talked to Felix yesterday...

 

Sucks to hear that, but i have had the cursor control issue with the qc in 404, normally would shut the trk down and wait a few mins then restart the truck when it reboots is would go away. it is just a software driver failing to load properly.

I drove up from Memphis Tennessee Arkansas line all the way up to Missouri it was pretty rough on Saturday, I tried to make it to Colby today but its been a long long day. I deliver tomorrow in Denver I'll be about an hour Or Two Late.
