I would suggest getting a noise filter installed on the power cord, for some reason there is an inordinate amount of electrical noise in the coronados, but yes I installed my electronic cobra 29.

 

I don't idle mine either idle time is like .5%, also progressive shift and run 63-64 any less than that and mileage goes down. So I may need to get it in and have them do a download and see whats going on.

 

Well ran through the house on the way to Norcross for Monday, then regullary scheduled hometime for Thursday, home twice in a week what a deal LOL!

 

i had a freightshaker once that did something like that..noise coming thru like a hummimg... and when i would turn the blinker on it would come thru the cb drove me nuts.... where would i get a noise filter?

I would think any Radio Shack would have one, or any truck stop CB store...

 

isn't the noise filter attach to the actual coax cable? If so I have a brand new extra in box, will sell you for 20.
