Well got my swr down to 1.9 right now. Good enough until I get home to get it better. But it is below 2.0 which is what I was shooting for. I know 1.5 and below is what you want but I don't have everything here and the cb shop I went to didn't do a good job the first time so not going back. So 1.9 is good for the next week. Well time for a shower it is hit out and I don't like being a dirty trucker. I got go be clean to sleep.

 

Lol yep I say that would be. Don't blame ya either. Don't know if any person that would not be upset about that. Are they going to try and run you by the house so you can get your checks in the bank or you have someone that can do it for you?

 

She must be sick as things have been realy slow for me this week. I hope she gets better soon or someone learns her job fast. I need to roll....lol

 

I went to the one off ext 472 on I-20. Beside the j. The ground is good. I tested that with my meter. even ohm it out to .2 ohms on the ground do I know it is good. The thing I found wrong was the guy didn't tighten down the ant. Before testing. I went back and tighten everything down and was able to get a swr that would adjust. Still have some more work to do but I'll save that when I get home and have my ladder to use. I also went back on the factory wire. Put on new studs and clean off the coax ends. Had to get. New stingers as the old ones where too short after the cb shop cut on them. Now that place does good cb work. Just didn't do a good ant adjustment.

 

And I am still using two terminator two ants. I had them adjusted to a 1.2 on the Pete. Could have done better but I was happy with the 1.2. I beleave I can do the same with the Coronado when I get home. Then I'll put my galaxy 99v back in.
