Fuse keeps blowing on cobra 400 watt inverter

    Just to clarify. ;) The m2010 uses the same 150 watt power adapter that the smaller systems used from a few years ago. The amps drawn on that system aren't as much as the OP's, or my own, system.

    thanks all for the replies, i have narrowed it down to a bad connection between the accessory plug and the outlet its plugged into, this bad connection I assume is causing a short or possible arc which is frying the fuses. I have found that as long as the accessory plug is making good contact the inverter works fine and the alarm never sounds, but from time to time the plug becomes unseated which sounds the alarm. Iwill also try using a 20 amp fuse as mentioned in one of the postings.

    Try a different accessory plug first. Then try a 20AMP fuse.
