My experiences with KWs is that most times, the fuse boxes are a little different, just enough to turn a simple fuse replacement task into a major "pull and look" hunting trip. They usually have the diagram on the door, which is a big help.
Whenever I purchased my 2004, (used), it came with the incorrect fuse box door, I lucked out, found a door in a salvage yard, but the info sticker was wrong; not thinking, I ordered a new sticker from the stealer, $54.00 for that darn thing!!!
KWs fuse box location leaves a lot to be desired when you're on a fuse replacement mission. I recently ordered a batch of fuses that are supposed to light up, or glow, when blown, hopefully making the replacement much quicker, and simpler. Saw these fuses at a Loves, for around $3.00/each, but found the same ones for $.83/ per at Del City Electrical. Just Google their name; limited selection of led lighting, but lots of stuff like relays, solenoids, wire, etc, along with decent prices. ( NO, I do not work for them, just like to share what I consider helpful info.) -
Best thing to do is get those resettable breakers. When they cool off, they reset themselves.

Cannot use them, or I should say not supposed to use them in some places. My fuse box cover application chart has some of the spots marked with an asterisk stating to use fuses only; don't know why...overheat and burn hazard maybe? I have used them in all spots on one of my other trucks, but when I saw that warning, I went ahead and put fuses back in the marked spots. I had a truck catch fire already, (not electrical), it wasn't fun! -
When not sure of location of fuse in fuse panel, just take a test light and touch the little metal tabs at the face of the fuse to see if they are blown. I wouldn't be without a test light.
