    And the bootleg copy requires a password generator that I have not been able to locate.

    There is no such thing as a "bootleg" copy of ET. The only difference from what a customer would get and what the dealer has is a different level of activation within ET it self. All it takes is a simple Keygen to get the different levels of activation. The customer version does not allow for flashing of ECM's as where the dealer version does. Also, if you do get a dealer level activation and you reflash an ecm to a different HP rating you will need what's called "factory passwords." These can be found too with a little searching.

    I have the Keygen. No luck on the password generator yet. Every download I have found has been corrupt as far as the password generator goes. And bootleg is in reference to not factory authorized. Cat is tying our hands and forcing people to go around them. Their business model is hurting them more than it is helping them.
