ExxonMobile has a refinery downtown BatonRouge right off of i110. Between NewOrleans and Baton Rouge, there’s tons of refineries. Morgan city to NewIberia. If I lived in south Louisiana, I would position myself to be in a tanker because those guys make bank.

What are the names of the trucking companies? I don’t know, but they all frequent all the little mom and pop truck stops instead of the big chain stops. Go to a place like Truckers Path that can highlight all the truck stops with sit down restaurants in your area. Here’s an example of the truck stops in the places I mentioned.
These guys run day cabs. All local. I have been to many of these places in south Louisiana and southeast Texas because I was hauling blast resistant buildings from Houston to the refineries.

The money is OBSCENE, but they do have stupid rules, like clean shaven, nomex suits…etc…
