thnx bubba! there is a truck stop near enough and I had thought of that just figured I would be annoying the drivers on their down time so decided against it but 17 yrs road experience says differently so going my next chance. gotta get me a C.B. , elec frig and hoping they still have the coleman one I had years ago for camping.....good reasons to go to truckstop. no prob on the gym thing a couple dumbells easy to take with.....not trying to get buff....little guy here just stay in good tone. gonna post later what I learn at the TS. thanks again man!

Hey Bookey, I use to have those Select-Tech dumbells from Bow Flex and a fold up work out bench on my truck. Worked out great! I could set up shop outside my truck at a quiet truck stop or rest stop and do my work out. There are also many things you do to incorporate your exercise around your truck. For example: pull ups on the cross members underneath your trailer or push ups using the steps of your truck. Bungee cords can also be used to do a lot of different exercises.

The main thing is to take the time out of your busy day to do your exercises!

    Good luck man....

cdl guestion earlier about what will I have to do when i relocate to florida and have louisiana cdl question earlier. more details on ups down of trailer driving and less on tanker/flatbed since these don't seem to be for me from what I am gathering. I guees I amm hoping for non-sugarcoated answers truthful and direct. I stopped got gas yesterday on way out to work and a trucker was unloading gas from his tank to retailer. so i stepped towards him and mentioned i was going to start driving school in a few months, pardoned myself for interupting and he said it was cool what'd i want to know. told the good things about company but he also told the not so good without being all tacky with regards to putting the company down. he explained how the baffle thing works and the frustrations of getting reembursed for out of pocket spending but he added they were getting better.

are there any companies that are similar to the add I saw for knight that mentions 14 on/7 off or 21on/7off?? I don't need 7 off but would at least like 3off to accommodate some time to tend to bills, my house, elderly parents. basically 2 days will be used up getting to and from terminal from my calculations of the nearest terminals to my current residence. (all at least 45 to 1hr away) even if allowed to take tractor home cant park in subdivision.....are there legal options to park rigg in cities for drivers....where??

All I meant is that truck drivers should feel secure about their job.

Werner graciously allowed me to take my reset at home after three months on the road. Needless to say, I didn't last long with Werner...
