Dont feel bad im always one of the slowest guys going down lookout as well... Ive thrown iron on that mountain more times then i can count and it never fails, someone is always flying down it no matter the weather...
Now ur ready to do all those mountain passes in the snow !
The loves in ritzville is kinda ####ty. Theres a nice stop in moses lake called ernies truck stop. Huge dirt lot , plenty of parking for oversize . they took out the resturant tho.... Whenever im dropping into seattle i usually stay there... You can make it from moses lake , deliver to seattle and back out to moses lake, legally on elogs as long as u dont get held up at shipper/reciever... Done that many many times... I wont even mess with the loves in ritzville or j in ellensberg or ta in northbend.. Absolute #### fests for truckstops. Hood crusher central at all of them -
Im not on Elogs and I was about out of hours when I was sitting on the scale right there on the east side of Spokane!! So I was trying to get somewhere decent. I NEVER stay at truckstops but, I was tired. Yes I seen that truck stop in Moses Lake. Looked like a nice quiet spot there.D.Tibbitt Thanks this.

I stop at the 176 at Moses Lake. A lot cleaner than Ernie’s and the lot is paved.
Make sure your logs match the cameras in WA. They can pull the info up during roadside inspections. -

That "Shrees" or whatever truckstop it was looked nice, had a big fruit stand and everything.
D.Tibbitt Thanks this. -
How long does it take for an inspection to show up on SAFER?

I never been to that one , always wondered if it was good or not. Ill have to try it next time I run thru there

I like parking at the loves in ellensburg. I always make sure I can see the island in the back by the shop. Usually see at least one guy try to make the turn around that island, and tear the absolute #### out of their trailer. I saw a guy bust three out of four tires on a loaded step deck dragging it over that 18” tall curb, kept going right out to the road and into the night.
What kills me is there’s plenty of room to get around the island if you remember you have a trailer and setup properly. -
I normally dont stay at truck stops but being out this far from home I decided to, That "flying j" in Hardin MT kinda left a sour taste in my mouth lol. I thought all day that day when I stop im gonna get me a hot shower there....... it was a flying J in name only
InTooDeep, D.Tibbitt, kylefitzy and 1 other person Thank this.
