WALA TV Mobile, AL reported 5 kids died on the way to Disneyland.
FL Trooper guesstimated kids ages from 8-9 to teen agers.
Years ago In that same area I witnessed a car cross the median & clipped a tankers ICC bumper. The passenger side front door opened & the occupate was knocked out of the car. Threre were other serious injuries. I had no training to deal with the injuries so I tcomforted ppl the best I could. There was a nurse in the backup, she came quickly to help . It still bothers me when I drive that part of the highway. Prayers sent for all involved.

News tonight said a northbound truck and a 4wheeler tangled, the nb truck went through the median and hit a sb truck head-on, with the church van with the kids in all of it. A pickup went around the wreck on the right out of control and ran over some of the vans occupants that had been ejected. Sad all the way around.

I’m sure everyone was driving the speed limit and was maintaining safe following distances.

Like that would make a difference when a truck crashes through the guard rail to the other side?

If there is on thing that causes me no end of heart ache is when people burn. Particularly if you cannot get them out or took took too long.

We have formula racing techology along with airline anti flame and so on... I would love to see a steady incorperation of some of. The last few loads Ive deal with in my time out there were a sort of a guinea pig to see what will happen. Anything is possible.

I can take vitals and make assessments to priority etc And a ew other things when needed, however out of all that my favorite skill is the sign language. It's really makes for a happy day for the deaf victim to understand he or she has the whole world up and running. Just need to know the name and start off with the worst pain where.

This is one of the worst wrecks I’ve ever seen. Never mind children lost their lives in it.

How do you tell parents that their child or children were killed in an accident? I can’t fathom it.

SMH. I guess I was more focused on the very likely causative factors of FIRST crash. Silly me.
