    I'm not familiar with that particular construction zone, but I know in Texas, they often have so many signs so early that you wonder if it's a construction zone where they just forgot to take the signs down.

    I have seen other drivers have very late lane changes because they just didn't believe that 15th sign that said the lane was closing (and I couldn't blame them, I was wondering too).

    Too much warning can be as much a problem as too little.
