    Hey Diesel Dave, Whats the difference between a galaxy 949 and a 99.Ive had a Uniden CB for 15 yrs. time for a new one. I run the Toll Road 90 .in New York at nite.Syracuse to Buffalo.2 turns a nite..Thanks Errol

    Im not an expert in this field, I've done my share of researchs online at google. The 99 has to many bells and whistles I don't need. If I was to have my dreams radio, it would be either the higher end Magnum S-9 or the Galaxy 95T. I like power over the bells and whistles.

    All of our company trucks have Galaxy Radios in them. I'll be interested to see them in action.

    I have a Stryker 490, that oushes about 80 watts. problem is I am ALWAYS adjusting the squelch due to every tiny electron in the air. it drives me nuts.
