An rfx-75 replaces the final in a radio. It can be anywhere from 50-100+ watts. Mine on my cobra is set around 65. It's no 200+ but not 4 either. The rfx-75 from the factory on my magnum s-45hp is swinging around 80 watts.

That RFX-75 is a nice upgrade for a single final radio. It does a great job on a Galaxy 959 and a General lee.

I love mine on the magnum. Honestly the cobra 29 is the ltd chrome version. It has a rf limited trb-2 echo and rfx-75. I haven't really used it since the upgrades, but I've heard it and it sounds great. My radio guy was impressed and he's not usually liking those kind of things. He kept it low powered to keep from heating it up and making it sound bad.

I caught a 29LTD Chrome edition at a Love's a few months back on sale for 89 bucks! I used rewards points for it.
It is still in the box but i keep it as a backup. -
I bought it new from eBay was in the box and had one of the little labels on the front like the truckstops. I think it was a display. I loved it. My radio guy specializes in 29's. he put some echo in it I didn't like after awhile. I had several people argue it wasn't a base. Once I got the magnum for the truck and a cre 8900 for the jeep I wanted to play with the 29. Now it's all fixed up sitting in the closet as a spare.

With a watt meter. The same way they tell how much an 8 final galaxy dx98vhp has. I had one of those for 3 years and loved it. It was in my suburban. I sold the suburban and can't put the galaxy in my company truck. So I sold it. Then bought a magnum s45hp for the truck.

How's that S45HP working for you Mdavis735? I still want one of those. Hopefully you didn't get one of the "bad batch" before they ceased production.

Mine seems great so far. I've never had more compliments from a radio. Anytime I carry on a conversation people start jumping in and asking what kinda radio I have. My only complaint is the heat from the rfx-75. Twice now if I talk for awhile the talkback quits and waits a long time to come back on. I'm sure that's why. I'm gonna order a set of fans from Bell's and have my radio guy install them. $15 is cheap insurance.
