That's mine I was thinking of changing microphones with that radio it's a 5 pin I think the ranger rci Mic is the same .

 

Class Ab box are you referring to an Rfx 150 amp or an external amp .

 

I still have the original box and instruction manual and the original brackets and the original microphones for mine

 

It pays to keep the original packaging and manuals those radios are scarce and will go up in price as most of the new radios built nowadays are no comparision .

 

External... a 4 pill would probably work well with that radio.

PLL IC controlled radios do not drift. That was crystal radios back in the 70's

 

All my magnum radios drift but my hr2510 stay put and don't move off frequency
