    Yup LOL

I actually bought the game and all the upgrades. I'll buy "Awakening" too.

BUT... I still wanted that patch. Why carry the disc, and risk scratching it ??

I'm still not 100% on how I'm going to get all those upgrades to my other PC though :(

Well I just found out I can't play my PS3 when I get home. Apparently Sony has some kind of bug hitting their system similar to the y2k scare.

the problem wasn't actually with PSN. The BIOS is having some sort of problem with its date/time memory. as a result other functions such as autosave become out of synch and become corrupted. It's a very stupid error, and one which Sony should have people who can fix it.

I am hoping more will come out about what the problem was exactly soon, I think that those of us who invested in their system deserve a straight answer.

PSN has been behind XBL since they started it. However, it's the only thing XBox has over the Playstation. The stupid "Ring of Death" was a pain, but the PS3's high cost has kept it out of my reach since it came out. The blu-ray player is really nice to have. But I need to invest in a real HDTV first.

Swaps I picked up a gen 2, with a 6 mo warranty and 2 controls last time I was home for less than 250. I also have a Wii which I am about to pick up Wii Fit for until I can get a better exercise program going, and a Ps2.

I really like the PS3 better than the 360 since the online gaming is free, and IMHO just as good of quality. I don't care for all the fancy side stuff I just wanna play the games.

This is why i dont play real games on PC. My dad used to be allll into it, playing the latest greatest games, etc, built a $3000 gaming computer, and ....why? then it constantly needed upgrades, after a couple years it would be totally obsolete, etc. Got h it by lighting etc. I have it now, never use it, my $300 laptop is far more powerful these days.

I hardly even play games anymore but im primarily a console gamer. dont even have a new console. whatever happened to playing games to have fun?

I wish some of my old PC games hadnt gotten stolen. had the sims 1 with alll expansions, roller coaster tycoon with both expansions, etc, sure would make trucking more fun to have that stuff..
