Be sure to message me first, I don't accept blind invites
Mattflat362 and x1Heavy Thank this. -
Had anyone managed to figure out how to play Xbox live on the truck stop internet? I'm noticing more and more locations have fast enough speeds to support hd video stand. I've been playing on the connection here in Hudson Wisconsin ta for over 4 hours with minimal issues
-
If that there is a race game you are doing, Ive got a Speed 4 or 5 version game on my origin. Usually a Diablo because im bone headed. Easy to get to 150 but takes forever to 200. -
I'm playing Forza 6. That particular car is a 2013 Lamborghini Veneno. Top speed is only 189, but it gets there quick
x1Heavy Thanks this. -
It's been awhile since I looked in here. I recently built a new mini ITX gaming/media PC for the truck. Anyone here on steam?
Joab Rynere and Mattflat362 Thank this. -
You might find your H100 radiator a bit limited when dust begins to accumulate and plug the bottom of that radiator as mine did on the last build. I still have that radiator on the shelf after about 21,000 hours. It's a good one. It cooled a i7 3770 CPU for 4 years without trouble.
Im driving a 6 core i7 3930 CPU at the moment at stock speeds, I have no trouble with gaming as it is. Im on Steam as xheavy and in world of warships as x2heavy -TRM- founder.
I build powerful gaming systems where possible now and then, not as often anymore due to financial limitations. The current machine under the desk took about 6700 dollars a few years ago to construct. The next one already in planning stages will push 10K in parts. Im waiting for the pricing to drop probably around the holiday time come this winter.WesternEmpire Thanks this. -
The only reason I went with a Ryzen 7 1700X was the fact I'm doing video encoding on top of gaming. Not many games are optimized for 8 cores/16 threads.
The 240mm radiator kept the CPU at mid 60s during a Timespy bench test. I don't think that's bad at all considering I ran it with it sitting in the cubby in the truck that has crap airflow.
As far as dust build up I clean my systems every 90 days so it shouldn't be an issue.x1Heavy Thanks this. -
Same here on the 90 days...or even more sometimes...I have been using the same air mattress inflater to clean machines for 20 years.
