    My problem with Garmin was, they ALWAYS died in about a year. And at $400 a pop! That's just,,,not right! I'm trying to control myself here. They worked fine for a GPS, but rule #1 about ANY GPS is, NEEEVVVER trust it fully. ALWAYS look over your route with google maps OR your favorite ACTUAL maps. AND if you are driving a truck (tractor trailer/Semi) and using Google maps as your GPS (again, in a semi) you are ASKING for trouble and your making the rest of us look bad as an industry. AT SOME POINT, it WILL get you in a bad situation!!!
    I have no idea what all the letters mean, just find one you can afford and the features you want and call it a day.. you'll drive yourself crazy trying to figure out the companies "latest and greatest"!
    My first GPS lasted 4 years before it died and with regular updates it did everything I needed it to do. MY 2 cents is, the more "bells and whistles", the more complicated it becomes and you spend all your time trying to play with your device rather than driving from point "A" to point "B" and ULTIMATELY that's ALL your GPS needs to be!
    ALTHOUGH, with all the idiots out there, a built in camera is something I am looking at, JUST to protect MYSELF. I am looking hard at that feature now. Good luck and don't worry so much about the added letters!

    I like my gps mounted low and front-facing camera mounted high, so i have a stand-alone camera. Everybody is different though. Thats why there's more than one dance step

    All-American82 Thanks this.

    Ya, I DO have a stand alone camera also. However, I'm just saying that, in the future it might be an option I look at when purchasing a new GPS to cut down on all the "wiring"!
    :confused::confused:
