Yard move is driving, can not be edited.

I believe that would be a driving log and unable to change regardless of provider. Only way you could do that in Motive would be to have another driver that is logged with say you like shop work. Then it could be switched to that other driver but would still be a driving log.

The keyword is "some". Had used 4 of them, none allowed editing when yard move kicked in on driving while on duty. The only thing yard move is made available for is it is not counted towards 11 hrs public road driving, yet it is still driving within company's property, amid not editable towards any off duty status.

No, I use motive (keeptruckin). Is it your eld or you running under a company and they provide it for you? On any eld you should be able to edit unless it's blocked by admin.
