I started driving 21 years ago, and drove for some pretty bad companies. Garner will tell you like it is. Just make sure you let them know what you need, and they are pretty up front with you. The equipment is great! Power inverters, and apus, most of the trucks are only a few years old. Most of the trailers are newer too, with power slide tandems. Hometime is what they say. If you are doing the home weekends, you are definitely home for your reset. If you do the 4 on 4 off, they need to get you home so your truck partner can go out. Keep in mind, it is only as sure as the traffic and circumstances allow. Things do happen, but they do try their best and that is a lot better that most companies can say.

 

Btw, even dispatch is off during the weekends! One of them is on call and has a company phone and laptop, but the actual office is closed. So you know, they have less to worry about if you are home and know your next dispatch.
