    Yeah A lot of drivers that run illeaguly (can't spell) get parinoid and say you are waking up the bears. Use the jake. It's there for a reason. If they didn't want you to use it it wouldn't be on there trucks. There are places that don't alow you to use it. City ordenances.

    Well we are going from MI to Springmo by way of PA. What an adventure. I was detoured past my turn due to a container yanker laying on its side. Driving backroads in PA mountains. Cop assured me the route was truck route. It was but should not have been but it was a pretty road. If it wasn't raining it would have been fun. Slick as snot. So We get to sara lee and all was well we were 28 hours early but they let us drop and hook. Ran over to pick up some chocolate. I thought juice out of florida was cheap. Man this chocolate is dirt cheap. But then again we are trying to get to springmo so we take what gets us there. Should be upgrading this coming week.

    Cross your fingers you never get a load into or out of the Cargill plant in Wyalusing, PA. It's not fun in any weather and I've done it in sunny clear and also wintery snow conditions.

    Well this is a two parter.

    1. I had some down time while trainer took hometime. Was off the truck 4 days. So first day back on truck did not sleep much my internal clock was off. So after my shift I was ready for sleep. That CPAP was working its majic and I was dreaming like a movie. In my dream my trainer said he was going to his house and would be back in 12 hours get us underway. In my dream I was in the berth watching a movie when I heard someone trying to break into the truck. Well I woke up when the truck shook. I really thought the truck was being broken into. Then I heard the key click and the alarm go off. I came tthrought the curtain to whoop some butt. I'm glad my co driver just took a leak cause I scared the living life out of him. We sat for about 15 minutes waiting to the adrenalin to burn off. Then we laughed like crazy.

    2. Pulled up to a small pilot in WI . It was a cluster. Some guy was broke down broadside of 4 of the 6 and the cat scale. This load was 44k in the box and going to cali had to be in the 6th. We ar 50 miles from the 01 at the closest scale so we decide to back it on the scale. Well the other side of the fuel islands are a cluster and tight as well. Blind side alley dock super tight just to get around another broke down truck then normal alley dock which wasn't so bad but it tight to set up for. Really that is what prime needs for a backing pad is two of those huge concrete rounds pilot/J uses. After all that it took 30 minutes to get taco bell. Well enroute to springmo. Hoping to make it for the safety meeting. OK really the free breakfast but the meeting i was at wasn't too bad
