Ok the sim test to upgrade is easy but its timed it used to be 20min now its 10min basically you start out on a street and have to pull into a shipper/rec and make a right turn and drive thru a maze of trucks that are illegally parked (ha) if u hit anything its an auto fail
After the maze u have to pull between 2 trailers and do a straightline back then pull up and back into a dock its not blindside but its a little tight you can get out and look as much as you want but keep in mind of the time after that you maneuver thru some more trailers and that's it
I did it in 8 1/2 min and I didn't use any free get out and looks but good luck to all upgrading next week

Do you have to do the cola test for the air brake system? I found some great videos of this on ytube

Ok I just watched a video on that not sure about your terminology but on your pretrip test you do have to do a service brake test a tug test and an air brake test( hold brake pedal for a min fanning brakes until low air warning light/buzzer comes on and fanning until your tractor protection valve, trailer brakes set)

A few weeks ago I took a load of Chocolate from the St. Louis area into PA, and then deadheaded 10 miles and took a load of chocolate back out to Kentwood, MI. While the load coming out of PA was dirt cheap, both of the loads when combined paid around $1.80/mi.

This week has been a good week for prime sightings. Or should it be Prime viewings? No matter. I have seen at least one Prime truck each day driving on I-196 outside my office window...and that's only when I am looking out the window, which isn't often. A confirmation good sign for my upcoming retirement.

Maybe one of them was Sazook's. Maybe more! :biggrin_255:
