Mudrunner Thanks this. -
well got to the 90 17 hrs early and they took it. Yay for me get a shot at a load earlier. Truck seems to be settling in. I had a lot of hill and heavy loads and running 57 was having a hard time getting to 7mpg. (even tried running slower but little help) Talked to my instructor and he said could be the truck being not broke in yet and to keep the weight on the drives.
This load was 78.5K put 33860 on the drives and ran at 57. It was a much flatter route but got 7.6 over the 900 miles. Much better. here I sit in plover WI ready to reload. -
talked to ORD today and he is headed into that storm good luck buddy

Plover, eh? At that dink - y truckstop??? Don't pull into the fuel island as you leave to wash your windshield at night. The night manager is a major pain... gotta keep those fuel islands ready for the 2AM rush ya know!

I dropped at 90 slept BT to walmart then back for a pu at americold headed to ID. Won't make it home for christmas but great start to the week. looking like the weather should cooperate.
Bought an electric blanket from walmart when I got the truck. It didn't work. Exchanged it that one won't work either. Wattage is low so that should not be the issue. Got a 12volt from TS and put it down as a pad and put sheets over it. With the blanket on top it works like a charm. -
