Just hasn't posted to this thread in awhile. Gator's last post was that he'd been injured - I'd imagine he'll be off the road for a month or two.

Yeah, he took a fall and busted some ribs, then waited to long to go to the ER and had to go to Intensive care for internal bleeding. So he may be out for awhile.
    Thats the word I got

I've enjoyed reading all your posts and look forward to Prime Time this summer when school is out.

Q: I'm curious about all you "gear"? I personally will travel light. But that's me.

    Thank you in advance!:biggrin_255:

I guess due to the flatbed requirements, tarps, bungees, etc. So FBs get the bigger rig at Prime?

There are some cute trucks that are used in flatbed, but the only one I know personally is a guy that messed up badly and had his truck taken away from him. I have a fullsize truck.

the good the bad the ugly

First I want to thank them many who called and txted me. I posted an update a while ago but it does not show up must have been the morphine.

Well end of Feb Road assist wanted me to go to FL and get my DEF pump serviced. FM suggested that while I was there I should take the TNT class. I told him I wanted some more time before I trained anyone he said cool but take the class so it is out of the way and it will pay for your hotel room while truck is at FL.
So I took the class. I was about to head out and FM says he has a b1 seat that has driven for years but took a break and they wanted him to run 15K just to learn the paperwork and QC and paperless logs. FM knew he could drive so I said sure I can train him on those things.

We get along great and yeah he can drive. So all is going great we get a load from yumma AZ to Bessemer city NC. While switching drivers in Dallas I was taking out the trash and there was a ditch I could not see in the dark. The trash can on the other side of the ditch was same ground level as I was. So I fell in and it hurt really bad. But I could breathe and move well so I thought I was just bruised up. We switched again in Birmingham where I still felt sore but good. I drove to the 90 we got there 8 hours early. As I was walking the paperwork tot he office I could hardly breathe. They were cool and unloaded us right up and I went to ER.

Well 2 broken ribs a punctured lung and my chest was full of blood chest tube and 5 days in ICU and felt much better. Luckily Prime allowed my co driver to run solo. Well fast forward about 18 days and I get released from med hold and Prime says I can drive again I call the co driver and he is in savanna and the truck is having serious power issues so he is at FL dealer. Two days later some sensor in DEF system is replaced. He gets sent to pick me up via Atlanta. Wel in Atlanta truck looses power again. 4 days @FL and they finally decide to replace the entire DEF system. So in a few hours I will be on my truck and back on the road.

more later thanks again for all who called
