Doing well because of your great teaching. Picked up my first psd and going great when i took him to the pad he did offset first time no pullup no points did the alley dock 1 pull up 2points. Drove today upshift flawless downshift a bit rough but workable.

I have a question, wanting to run this past the experienced guys out there. Just how does my FM schedule around a team's home time.
Now, before you answer that, let me set up the scenario. First, I know there is no home time for a student in training. And technically, trainers should avoid home time in the PSD portion while training a student as well. So, I'm with my trainer today and he tells me he needs to run by his house to do something for his taxes and do some medical things. So, he technically didn't ask for "home time". He just told our FM to "run him past his house". That's cool, I'm easy. So, I then bring up the question, what do you do with me since he lives in Phoenix and I live in LA? It's not like I can just catch a bus to my house and be there in 3 or 4 hours. I am not under any illusion to understand that even though he asked to "just run by his house", you know it could be anywhere from 18 -36 hours before we're set up with another load and it wouldn't surprise me if we hit a reset or something while we're heading out West. So I'm getting prepared that I could be stuck in Phoenix for a day or two. How does that work? Now, I've read all sorts of stories about what trainers will and will not do when out with their students (and you experienced drivers know what I'm talking about), but I would rather hear it from a trainer how this is best handled before I start quoting from other threads.
I know I'm not entitled home time in training, but when my trainer goes home only a week after I've been out, what do I do?

    Thanks for your input guys.
