Life in the cab of a team truck is a very small universe, with two overly large egos stuffed inside. For a short time. Bite your tongue, swallow your pride - remember why you are there. To get the ticket that puts you in your own truck without your instructor or trainer. Get it over with, and move on. Take a couple of days in the hotel and think about it... BTW, the wheels aren't turning, so you won't be paid for those days.

If he's a PSD he isn't paid yet, and the down time just adds to his driving time before upgrade. ( TnT would get paid no matter what the truck does as long as he's available to drive)

Correct Livinia. I'm in PSD phase, so it's just going to push out my date to return to Prime to test out.

I'm actually away from the truck now for a few days while my Instructor is on his home time. So, this is a good time to regroup my thoughts and then when we hit the road again I'll have a very clear mind and can focus on the task at hand...GET MY CDL! :)

i'm sure you'll do fine. YOu can land a plane. I'm sure you can learn to back a trailer. OK Wait anyone can land a plane but you can do it with out the smoke, flames, carnage.

Ah no. There was a guy in the AF who persisted in flaring 50' off of the ground. Kinda made a mess of the landing gear...

We'll a little update. It's been nearly 2.5 years since this journey began. Been 2 years since I got my truck. All is well was at spring mo a few weeks ago saw silent eagle. Got stuck in Laredo for thanksgiving kids sucked. But found that if you are waiting for load at j o Alvarez you can hit the movies. And if you go past the turn for Alvarez there is a what's burger with truck access at the next exit off loop. Had another trifecta. And current student is progressing well.

Wish i I had more time to post but staying busy
