Speedo and Tach gauges will peg out when truck is started. Tach works properly but speedo does not work. There are two sets of wires coming from the speed sensor so I would assume the speedo reads directly off the sensor?

HeavyD: I hope you read this because you could really help. Back in 2016 there was a thread where you uploaded a wiring diagram to help a guy with this same issue. I couldnt get the wiring diagram to download. Do you still have that? Thanks for the help.

I think it is because you are new member. Should work after you get a few more posts.

That gauge and warning light gets it's data from the engine ECM. I would be plugging into the engine and check for codes and see what the ECM is seeing for oil pressure. The side gauge panel is actually run and controlled by the center speedo/tach panel incase the cluster is faulty.
