I'm confused at how your Constitutional rights were violated? Driving's a privilege, not a right.

He admitted guilt by attempting payment. He's not an innocent victim but a jerk that got mad when he got caught. Then to follow up with childish actions.

Standing up for your rights is hiring a lawyer and having your day in court.

You get treated like you treat other people. You act like a jerk, you'll get treated like one.

All I can tell ya about the Gauley Bridge over the New River Gorge is that I always wanted to B.A.S.E. Jump off the sonofab!tch... or at least pull a long rappel using spools of caving rope (lead climbing rope would be too expensive). WAHOO!!! :biggrin_25523:

Don't pay it, see how far your rights go then. That will teach them.

Yeah, no sh... signs everywhere, tourists galore, big ol' gorge in which to possibly die, what's not to like? The first time I crossed that bridge, I crawled across at about 5 m.p.h. just to check out the view (lol). The weirdest time was when I crossed it in the middle of a heller storm, with fog and hail and lightning and God knows what else on the approach and exit. Ya get some weird weather in "The Hillbilly..." If they ironed that sonofab!tch out, it'd be as BIG as ALASKA!!! :biggrin_25523:

Just a suggestion. Go ahead and pay the ticket and keep your CDL. Then if you feel your rights have been violated get a Constitutional lawyer and sue. You have already tried to pay in change and they refused, so there is your case (or not, I am not a legal scholar). This is the only option I can see for you.
