I personally would like to see every man on this board and matter fact every man in the world turn 100% gay so that it leaves all the women in the world for just my hetrosexual ### to take care of all them, please when you all turn gay make sure you tell all women about me. Now don't forget to tell them. See my Avatar pic aint I cute?

Well personally I wish I was gay.
I would be getting laid every nite!
Do you realize that all the hassles that women have caused me thoughout my life would (all of a sudden) dissapear?
No woman yelling at me every time I come home late, or when I forget to call home. No nagging when I do something wrong, or don't like HER friends!
Oh my God, how many times have I had to bite my toungue whenever I have to sit thru a woman lecturing me? BLA BLA BLA BLA BLA! Oh believe me, you CANNOT WIN AN ARGUMENT W/A WOMAN!
Yeah, you can put me down as "gay-friendly." -
You can put me down as gay-unfriendly.
Also, Vulcan, I have already sold my soul to the devil for that wish. So far I'm feeling screwed. -
If I was gay I'd be one of those ultra-masculine gay guys.
You know, a constrution worker, a cowboy, a biker, a cop, a soldier, ........
THE VILLIAGE PEOPLE!
LOL! -
Everyman's got to be a
Macho man
Live a life of freedom
Machos make a stand
Have your own lifestyle
And ideals
Posess the strength and confidence
Life's a steal
You can believe that
He's a macho man
He's a special person
In anybody's land
Hey! Hey!
HEYHEYHEY
Macho Macho Man,
I gotta be a Macho Man.
--------------------------
But really,
I didn't sound off on the thead until it went on for so long...
What are you guys so upset by?
For example, I'm not gay; I'll never be gay, but why are so many truck drivers upset because of it?
I don't understand. Is it because you might one day become a trainer, and you are afraid of the potential student being gay?
That explaination makes most sense to me--sharing personal space w/someone that might make you feel uncomfortable.
Don't know myself. I'd rather instruct a gay man that acted appropriately than some gang-banger from South Atlanta. -
JAIL BAIT!

well, I got sick of reading the unkind posts at about the 3rd page and just gave up, What a welcome you all have given to a new driver.
I agree with Wise One, I would be upfront then you should have nothing to worry about with the trainer. Any concerns you have should be discussed with your recruiter BEFORE getting on that truck.
We are all out there to do a job, I think the poster just wants to be sure he does not offend anyone, or put himself into a bad situation. Living ina truck with someone you do not know can be hard enough without adding to it him ending up with a trainer that has an attitude like Brikman, or several others on here. I think he would be safer if he did speak to the recruiter about this for that reason.
Good luck driver, and please dont think the attitudes here are what all drivers are like. I am a female driver who faced difficult times when I got started. Some old timers thought I needed to be in the kitchen and not behind the wheel, I also made some great friends who helped me learn so much! IT takes all kinds, just dont let a few bad attitudes get you down.
As professional drivers ( at least some of us are ) we should be helpful and encouraging to the new people, not putting them down for any reason. The stupid question is the one that is not asked!! My Dad always told me that, and I have to agree with him 110% -
When I first read the first few posts on this thread my first instinct was to step in and stick up for the guy. But such rancid hostility... it sorta scared me. he's a human being guys....just like you.
Look.... 6 pages of posts and not one more from him. I bet he gets treated like dirt in more ways then any of us can know. -
I am a trainer with Trans Am, and have no problem with training ANYONE.
Well, except amputees. They are kinda fickle. -
HEY sweeze! Don't worry about anyone. This is just a message board: A great place for info, but that's about it!
The original poster has nothing to worry about. Trust me, I see every kind of different person (wierdo) you can imagine. Homosexuals have much less to worry about general truckers than motoring people that get lost in East Point, Georgia do.
This whole discusion is absurd. It shakes me to my core that a homosexual post gets this much attention. And believe me, I've nothing against them.
I agree w/Socrates: An army exclusively of homosexuals, entirely dedicated to achieving medals and awards, would conquer the world!
