    I think a cool mod for this project for a company driver might be to get a piece of plywood, cut it to match the floor area. Velcro or tape the plywood to the floor. Make your stand and attach it to the plywood. You can paint over the plywood to match the floor for minimal visual intrusion, or if you have carpeting, you can put the carpet over it and not see it at all.

    Just my 2 cents on the project

    Have you thought about cutting a couple of holes under the fan areas?

    I noticed a big drop in temps when I got mine OFF a flat surface, or used a stand with additional venting for the fans.
