No need, mine has the fan off to the side, not the bottom.

Yes, for GPS purposes only. :biggrin_25525:

I like the way you have yours set up. Gives me a couple new ideas for mine. Since it's a company truck and they're going to swap it out sometime this decade :) I don't want to do any permanent mounting. Someone mentioned plywood as a base, I'm thinking of using another walmart cheapo tray as a base. It's thick, sturdy, and a little on the heavy side. Should work as a decent base.

    Have a good one!

With a little more measurements you could mount it to the seat bracket or the seatbelt bracket if it wont be used. I like the set up you have Gazoo, I am going to go buy the parts tomorrow, and see if its something I can do easily, then sell it at the yard to the other puter users. I know alot of us have been asking for a simple cheap yet sturdy mounting way that company users could use. Great pictures also!

That's pretty cool Gazoo. But ya know, with the right fitting and hole in the floor, that stand could easily be a urinal as well. ;)

Excellent job, Gazoo. It shows that what some thinking and imagination can do. Some great ideas here to for mods for company trucks.

One possible suggestion-make your fuel hose/bolt bumpers a bit longer so you can fit one of those USB coolers under the laptop. Maybe your laptop is OK with this setup but lots of them are mini-toasters.

Is your fridge mounted or just sitting there? Looks like it's too far away from the drivers seat to me. Wndering if it wouldn't be better to mount a slide out drawer on top of the fridge.
You may want to run a small bungee cord across the lapto up high near the hinge

If you are looking for a cheap but good laptop stand for under $50 that works really well, go to mobilelaptopmount.com. I've been using one for three years and I love it. Also, make sure you get the one with the quick disconnect.

Yeah, that is pretty much where I got the idea for mine. Didn't you notice the black pipe I used for the base?
