I have used the wrong term. I should have said adjust the clutch. Insufficient clutch pedal give unusual transmission noise, revving and acceleration don't match up. Slipping. All those problems I had.
It was too stiff. And another mechanic knew right away it wasn't done right. To think again, I left my truck for three days and paid close to $5,000 for work to be done and still not done right.

I am not a mechanic. Though I admit you're right.
The person who worked on it said it's transmission. The other shop said it's most likely transmission as well.
So, it seems not a lot of good mechanics up there. Many shops make their money. Do unnecessary things and still leave you with a problem to deal with...Last edited: Apr 23, 2022
