I'll tell you something about those transmissions with 2 or more shifters. If you got them both out of sync, you would have to get it pulled over and start over. I remember some drivers would brag that they could do it with it still rolling but I've seen some drivers try and demonstrate this and it sounded like a lot of damaging grinding to me. The other thing about those transmissions is if you didn't get it into gear all the way, they had a tendency to pop back out and would bust your knuckle. It wasn't too bad if it hit you in the meaty part of your palm but anywhere else, OUCH!

Super 10? You just mean a 10 speed right?
What I know to be a super 10 has 5 gears and you can split each gear. -
In the beginning of my career, I drove quite a few 2 speed axles, I'm old enough to remember when there was a dry/wet switch to lockout/ in the front brakes
MooneyBravo, G13Tomcat, LWT104 and 1 other person Thank this. -
Yes super ten . Ten speeds five shifts of the stick .
MooneyBravo Thanks this. -
I learned on one of these with the little red knob. The axle was not very forgiving for newbies!
That popcorn sound coming from the back is not good.Attached Files:
