Maybe the state should start off by giving a accounting of how many cords of wood has burnt so far which is a form of fuel. And use the information gathered from current firestorms on the smoke problem.

You might as well formulate a storage medium that will not have any loss when the batteries are disconnected now and then. All you have to do is short the batteries a certain way and poof nothing is retained. Which was how we bypassed parents inadequate security password to gain machine activity online at the house. That was a long time ago.

You might as well seize the data remotely as the tractor trailer passes the coop. Poof, taken and then stored until next time it visits to update again.

    I’m stoked.

I want them to keep out all the cheaters and liars that have trucks with out DPF or other anti-smog devices. Go ahead and run freight where that’s still legal, but I’m old enough to remember what Southern California looked like pre-smog in the ‘70’s and ‘80’s.

Clean air is better. Sooo keep your trucks out.

...and guess what...the rules here seem to head across the nation in regards to smog. Y’all might what think on that.

Sorry for those of you unable or unwilling to update your trucks. I really am. Well there’s always McDonalds. LOL

Hey, it isn’t our fault the state has had issues with smog. With 39.5 million people in the state and a chronic issue with wildfires what did you think was going to happen? And a lot of people can’t afford the newer equipment required to run in that state (I don’t exactly have ($120-$150K in spare change jingling in my pocket for a new or second hand Freightliner or Volvo).
