Honda makes some VERY nice gens...right in that size range....very quiet too! Just with a company truck+carrying gas....it is a problem waiting to happen (the fact they are very portable, and very expensive is an theft issue)...and just an inverter and truck bats on a reset, or a truck with poor bats suck...especially if the you have your bosses complaining about idle %'s.
Most big company's are all about idle reduction....and restarting your truck every few hours to charge the batterys is a fast way to loose your monthly/quartly bonus or "get noticed" and get on the idles too much naughty list!!

 

What bonus is that? There ain't one!

 

Company rules is you can't keep anything on the back of the truck.

I am sure the DOT has rules about how to carry gasoline safely.

BTW Bungies are not acceptable to hold anything on the back of your tractor. Including cargo bars.

 

IF the truck doesn't have a Tripack, it gets idled.

Screw anyone that don't like it.
