    The Ranger SRA-198 is a good sounding Mic. It's well built too. I can't imagine why it wouldn't sound good on the General.

    The General may come from the factory with the SRA 198....I know the General Lee's come from factory with a SRA 198...

    Jessejamesdallas.. I remember you years ago on sparkys CB forum.. been a long time.. I did ask screwdriver what mic it came with and it's the stock mic.. I order the SRA-198 yesterday .. I won't see the radio probably for a couple weeks.. it'll take 6 days just to get here from Florida.. do I'll have the mic when it gets here.. you ever hear what happened to sparky, was the best forum out there.. 73 your way Joe out here in Cali..

    believe it or not, Sparkys Forum is still up and running! You just need to remember your sign in name and password...Me and a couple other guys check in every 6 or 7 months just to see if we still can.

    There was different rumours on what happened to Sparky...One was his health had gotten real bad, and he closed up shop, and people who had orders placed lost their money, and guys who had stuff in for repair never got any of it back...

    Also heard where he passed away....Also around this same time there was a seller on ebay called "redvelvetshoes" who was supposedly selling off Sparky's remaining inventory...

    What ever happened to Sparky’ CB if I remember he was based in
    Illinois heard rumours he was ill and passed away , but also was shutdown by Authorities i will post on some of the Radio groups on Facebook
