General Mills honors Schneider

Why does this puff-piece article remind me of those Lowered Expectations skits from Mad tv?

And regarding lowered expectations, I am unable to revert back to regular text font.

 

rewards, honors, meant/mean nothing to me, ever. one day you're getting honored, the next day you suck..you're only as good as your last performance.

General Mills must be looking for more discounts now, so they "lovey up" to Schneider for that discount.

 

give it some time, and someone will screw up and General Foods will be doing this to that honor...

 

hauled a Gen Mills load once from Buffalo. Heavy. Cant recall where it went.

Glad they are happy in the relationship and hope it translates into more loads.

Going to note for the record. I appreciate my time at SNI. Put me on a solid path in trucking. I left on good terms. I criticize my current company. And I will criticize my former where and when I see fit. For those that may not like that, well thats not my problem.

I will also continue visiting this subforum to offer whatever help my experience in the dedicated division can offer. Given there doesnt seem to be any but GR on the company side posting here anymore.

 

Schnieder always seemed like a good company to me, its nice to see some companies get recognized for good work

 

just don't dwell or sit on your laurels.

an award is basically meaningless, it's a "feel good" thing, and that's all it'll ever be.

it does not take much for a rummy or 2 to ruin it for the entire company.

did you get a pay raise when General Mills gave this award to Schneider.??

most likely not

i say, to heck with awards, i can't spend them, gimme the money......

 

Not trying to ruffle any feathers, but the article comes off as a self-flattering puff-piece. Just my opinion.
