I to am an o/o and agree that free speech should be respected, but at times people that don"t know what they are talking about should just keep their thoughts to their selves. We as truckers have our own problems to deal with on a day to day bases.

peashooter,
I didn't say I didn't know anything about trucking or the industry. I said I didn't know that much about OOIDA. Big Difference there.
I explained myself in one of my earlier post and yes, I have worked in the trucking industry in the past. Know drivers, both O/O and Company men. My deceased hubby was also a sales rep for BP Oil and worked his butt off getting tires, privileges, special deals, etc... for the drivers he fought for. We also has a team mapped fuel stops across the country to get the best fuel prices for the drivers.
I sympathize, respect and encourage the trucking industry in their endeavors. You will also find that I also said in the beginning I am not a trucker just part of the general public and concerned about the rising fuel cost.
Excuse me, I thought this was an open board, I didn't realize you had to be a trucker to understand anything.....at least from your perspective... -
you said "us" truckers! Are you there in DC? LOL
