Say what!!!!! I've been searching for something like that. I think the thermo king or any unit that hangs off the side are ugly. Much nicer to have it look like there isn't one there at all.

Ok that is pretty slick. Did he happen to share the price?
-
I didn't get as far as to ask the price. I'll shoot him another email.
Terry270 Thanks this. -
From Powertech this morning (Joe is the rep):
PT-3SV2: $5,750.00 in stock
PT-3000: $6,560.00 3 weeks lead timenonsense007 Thanks this. -
sorry i'm a little late to this post..... and I didn't read all 20 pages.....
any portable generator mounted on the truck must meet fmcsa (dot) reg's and MOST don't...
393.63 covers them
393.63 (3) Fuel spilled vertically from a fuel tank while it is being filled will not contact any part of the exhaust or electrical systems of the vehicle, except the fuel level indicator assembly;
.......so the fuel tank can't be mounted over the generator as portable generators are....
393.63(d) Gravity or syphon feed prohibited. A fuel system must not supply fuel by gravity or syphon feed directly to the carburetor or injector
......must have a fuel pump....
will mister/ms dot get you for it maybe maybe not but they do have the rules to cover it.....scottied67 Thanks this. -
And that's just for the generator, no heat or ac?Cetane+ Thanks this.
-
See while that setup would be pretty nice, it's a bit of a jump from a gas generator and a portable AC setup
-
-
Yep, and if it doesn't include ac or heat, by the time you get all of that you are in Tripac money.Terry270 Thanks this.
-
You can get a dynasys with cat motor , generator style. Or inverted style like tripac for 8500 installed.
