I have no problem with any of that on a properly designed set up but when you start changing stuff. That's a whole new ballgame.
Does that mean the truck itself? If so that would make sense.

Yeah, I can do that. But it's got to be later today.
FYI, this generator doesn't have a fuel pump. But there's a guy that makes a kit where you install your own, and then you could even mount a gas tank on your truck. Like a legit gas tank. Thirty or forty gallons if you wanted. You could get an aluminum fifty gallon tank, mount it next to your diesel tanks, and fuel the generator once every month or two!Elroythekid, staceydude and flood Thank this. -

The fan does 2250 CFM. I've got it wired to a switch on my dash. Without it, the box got so hot you could barely touch it, and it caused the generator to kill the power. With the fan, it stays ice cold. Runs all night on the truck batteries no problem. Pulls 90 watts.
I forgot how many pounds of gas we can carry in cans, but it equates to 8 gallons. So I carry a 5 and a 2.5 gallon can. I drilled a hole near the top on each side of the toolbox for venting hot air.
