How's that Predator holding out? How many hours on it so far?
I still have a fairly new one, sitting torn apart right now because it quit running at 200 hours. Has no spark.
One of these days, if I can ever break away from my other projects or driving this dang truck, I'll fix it and make it run.JoeyJunk, God prefers Diesels and Crude Truckin' Thank this. -
So far it's been great but I don't have a lot of time on it yet. I did the first break in oil changes and now I probably only have about 20 hours on it. I'm going to try to keep changing oil as often as I can.
The only problem that I've had is that the exhaust on mine is not the same as what other people have shown in their photos. They're supposed to be just a straight pipe that comes out of the back end that you hook your pipe to.
Mine had a weird flange on the back and a pipe actually inside of that but not sticking out that you just hook up to. I had to make another flange to fit up onto that. It's okay so far but if it had the little pipe sticking out it would have been so much easier.
But the generator is so far has been great. On eco mode I can run the space heater and at the same time I can run my block heater.
Last night it was 4 degrees and my truck started instantly. Gotta love that.JoeyJunk, lilillill and God prefers Diesels Thank this. -
I was thinking more about the dummy pipe KW and Peterbilt put on the trucks nowadays. Its terminated at the elbow, just under the cab.lilillill, God prefers Diesels and Crude Truckin' Thank this.

I could see that. Idk why they do that. Why waste the pipe just to have fake duals? I've seen some trucks with a weed burner but has both stacks. Personally, I couldn't get over that.Speed_Drums and God prefers Diesels Thank this.

The Honda EU generators are the good standard
and the metal approved cans are only about $50
Amd are far superior to plastic cans .TheLoadOut and God prefers Diesels Thank this. -
I guess it's "Scepter", but anyways...

Is that some venturi action going on there? Nice!God prefers Diesels Thanks this.
-
Yes! It's better than my old design, because it eliminated the flex pipe, and still works as a venturi. It's about to get yet another small tweak when I get home.lilillill, TheLoadOut and Crude Truckin' Thank this.

I'm assuming you put that on there to draw in some fresh air and keep the stack cool?TheLoadOut and God prefers Diesels Thank this.
