I understand what you are saying. I hope you can understand my points. First is all research is away to get the information and asking those in the field is a good resource. Do I suggest you take everything people say in here as gospel? Nope not at all but I find myself asking here first alot then proceed to looking up from other sources. This does two things 1 is get the experienced drivers input and 2 gives time for that input to be posted while I am researching elsewhere. Do I take the info even from the official website as gospel? Nope as they are not always updated right away (as my example above with the official FMCSA’s site) and drivers from certain areas may know that update sooner than published.
I agree we can't always just blurt out the answers if we expect to change the industry even a little. But I don't think cutting someone down is the answer either.

Now I know answering some of the same questions over and over gets old or getting fed up with people asking questions that one feels is super easy to find. Trust me I have seen many that I feel come on use the head for more than a hat rack but I skip answering when patients is thin.
This may just be me and my disposition.
I have a friend that calls for me to look up stock prices and that's about as simple of a look up as one can get.
Personally I think that school last decade has alot to do with it they teach how to memorize not how to learn but that's a whole new topic.
