What if he just delivers empty trailers?

Maybe he has an account with really bulky but lightweight material. PVC tubing comes to mind. And just guard super lightweight stuff until he can afford a bigger truck. Some people don't like going into debt, even good debt. Who knows his story.

What does the length of the trailer have to do with anything? I used to legally gross 42 k with a 44 foot gooseneck and a 5500 dodge. I could put over 20k on that trailer.

Got pulled over once and put on the portables. 100 under on steers, 60 under on drive and 20 under on trailer.

A longer trailers heavier, and those extra pounds add up on a truck with limited weight capacity as it is

I believe it was just his planks. Maybe he was hauling them? I don't know but it looked like some 6x6s

Me thinks you need to worry about getting through your CRST contract before you start ragging about things you know nothing about.

Very small load and all looks properly secured.

Interesting because I've been done witha contract for 6 months, and I was driving two years before that soooo maybe you should learn before you speak about something you nothing about :)
