A common-sense answer. Most OTR truckers are not going to be in these situations to start with. Unless of course, you are right on the spot where a riot breaks out, if not you are just going to be held up in traffic. You see the situation going south GET OUT and abandon the rig! I have spoken to several people that were either in places like Portland or the twin cities OR were dispatching them. Everyone said it was more like a PITA because the cops closed off the roads! This is why I said. I kept my laptop, briefcase (with spare cash), and my shaving kit where I could get them quickly. I was doing this years ago.
