I didn’t think it was inappropriate, but I figured better to be safe than sorry. I don’t know anyone that gets a joy out of hauling that $1.35 a mile load for 1,200 miles. But I could be wrong

I dunno. I've seen people here post proudly about pulling those rates. I also see people beg for low paying contracts like Amazon all the time.
I hope it's just people trolling, but with the state of the industry as it is, I can't quite believe that.

Geez, I don’t know what there is to brag about. Like I said, I willingly admit I have had to take the $1.25 to get out of a bad area but I never beg or brag about. Lick my wounds and learn to never go back there.

Funny how the Amazon trailers always seem to wind up in the leftmost truck legal lane running 10 mph under the speed limit.

I could have swore that was Fed-Ex’s lane. Or is that the middle lane?

No western express gets that one. I had one magnetized to me tonight for atleast 100 miles and the dude would randomly just move over to the left lane forcno reason. Just us around, nothing ahead or behind, good tar, no one on the shoulder.

Maybe it made him feel like he was in his home country or something. No clue.

    Oxbow Thanks this.

They shut down the Bay Bridge to trucks yesterday afternoon, so I had to go up and around to get home which means running down 95 with all the idiots.

I blew past two of the aforementioned idiots with Amazon trailers like they were sitting still. Sad part is I was only going 68.

Now, like good little properly propagandized mega carrier drones that are incapable of thought, they more than likely both had heart attacks at being passed on the right. Sorry, but if you’re parked in the middle going slow and there’s signs up saying “no trucks left lane”, you’re getting passed on the right. Get over it.
