There is a beer distributor in Hodgkins IL that made me wait 12 hours to get loaded since I was 30 minutes late. Rudest staff ever on top of it.

R & S Steel in Denver. Shipping can be a little disorganized. Have never gotten in and out but they do make an effort to get to you ads fast as they can. Recieving on the other hand is a mess. I had sat there for 3 hours. When I walked in to the office and told them that I would be happy to lever the load of box beam on to the ground they found the time in their afternoon coffee break (all afternoon) to get me unloaded.

I WAS GOING TO SAY THAT!!!

LOL. I was also going to mention that its OK because it gives you time to pull your bumper out after bending it on the pipe that protects their fence from trucks running into it. Nice 4 inch round pipe about 10 inches off the ground right where you need to be to back in.

Of course this depends on where you are. Some of these jerkweeds won't even let a driver onto their dock.:biggrin_25510:

It does suck when you can't. We mostly unload our own product everywhere though. Costco and Walmart are mostly the only ones that we don't. The few freight loads I have to sit but it's pay by the hour the moment I get there.

Food Lion Grocery warehouse,Salisbury NC.....I waited 18 hours to get a door then 4 hours to get unloaded.
Also a frozen warehouse in Charlotte i can't remember the name but i was there for a 5 am appointment. It was dark that night before they ever touched my trailer.
SO glad I work for a private carrier now and never deal with that anymore!

    mje Thanks this.
