Getting antsy in Medford

    Howdy,

    Because of the Christmas and New Year off days, I haven’t heard back from my recruiter in over a week, so I’m getting a little antsy.

    I live in Medford, OR, and was told via email that I’ll be going up to Pacific, WA, as soon as they find me a trainer. I drove from ’97 to 2002, but haven’t driven since then, so I’m starting over again as a “student.”

    If anyone here lives in Medford, would you know if they would send a guy to orientation in Pacific and hop on a trainer’s truck there, or do they normally send a new driver back to Medford and then send them out with a trainer?

    My trainer picked me up at the terminal (Rancho) after orientation, I waited 5 weeks for a trainer to be available after being told I was accepted by Gordon.....and that was in the middle of summer, not the Holidays. Be patient brother, it'll happen Rick was my recruiter too and he took good care of me.

    I drove up from Medford to Auburn, WA, today and will start my orientation tomorrow.
