Getting back hazmat endorsement

    So I'm planning on getting my hazmat endorsement back. But I'm reading something about a entry level driver training thing is needed. Google is useless. I let it drop around May of last year. I just remember needing to deal with TSA and do a written test. But sounds like I might need to pay for that extra thing. So seeing if anyone has info on that. Also when I send in the form for the exam. Do I just pay the $20 for the endorsement?

    State of Maine in case it means anything

    That’s only if you have never had the hazmat endorsement at all prior

    If you do have to do the training class thing, there are several online places that you can use. I've seen fees as low as $25 up to around $100.

    PLEASE CAL YOUR STATE DRIVER LICENSE OFFICE to answer this question. It's the official answer you need, not guesses. MY GUESS is since you have previously had CDL and HazMat before you don't need the ELDT.
