If I was reviewing your application and if you put down your breakdown, I would be asking myself what are the odds of this guy losing his marbles and just leaving. Or,worse abandoning my equipment because he just changed his mind again. Why would I give this guy a chance compared to other applicants. Hence why if I was in your position I probably wouldn't write down that I had a mental breakdown. not many companies wants to take chances on people like that. It doesn't make you a bad person or bad driver.

    eventually, someone will find out.

he's best to get a "clean bill of health" from a doctor that specializes in his situation.

I guess I should have added that if his last employer wasn't told that it was because of a mental breakdown and that he just needed some time off for himself. it would make sense. It doesn't look like he has a mental issue. I think it was just his anxiety. Stress

While I sympathize with Rex, I can't help wondering if he was diagnosed or freaked out because he couldn't "handle" the stress. I won't make light of the matter because I've been around people with diagnosed and undiagnosed mental issues. Driving anything is stressful, driving a truck is a factor to the nth degree stressful. Before getting back to any type of job where you could put yourself and the general sheepdom in danger you might want to talk to a medical professional. Are there issues in your immediate family? How old are you? Etc. This job is dangerous enough without the possibility of being mentally unfit. A dime spent now could save a dollar later.

he did tell his former employer when the employer called to go tell him he had a truck waiting for him, so he knows.

Thanks again for the replies. Those recommending professional help, yes I will most likely go the route probably a therapist. For the most part though all this could of been avoided by doing a couple things differently back then. Its all about stress management. And lol l have to throw this out there, I'm not a looney tune. Just was super stressed
