Getting back into it!

    Hello my name is Tom, i have had my cdl since 2005. I started off Driving hazmat tankers until about a 2 Years ago I Got into Firefighting in Detroit and into EMS. Due to the city and all of the cutbacks I am Getting back into trucking. I applied to Maverick and will have to start over as a Student driver but from what I hear it is worth it at Maverick.

    Welcome! I'm not a trucker myself; I'm a radio tech. But I also retired after 19 years in the Fire/EMS services in Alaska, and then 10 years at the Troopers there.
    Sorry about the budget-induced career change, but how lucky you've got another career already trained up.
    It may be hard to remember that you can't fix all traffic problems by just running code anymore, though.... :)

    lol Yeah ill have to remember that. altho all the ghettoites have their "systems" up so loud they didnt hear us anyway until we would give them a little nudge to say watchout
