See it all the time anymore... I dont get over to be nice to them i get over because i know at any second they will pull out into traffic without looking. I almost got killed a couple years ago in this situation and had to take the shoulder to avoid a wreck.. its even worse when you have oversize and one of those dumb ####s parks over the crest of a hill.
I have parked on the shoulder exactly 1 time in my career, and it happened last year when my fan clutch went out while pulling a mountain and overheated then shut my engine down... Other then that theres no reason to ever be on the shoulder. Even a blowout you can limp that #### down the road. I have done it many times.. ill gladly pay 500 bucks for a new wheel if it gets destroyed, than to get me or my tire guy killed with the tards that are out there driving now.

In my CDL test they required you to get over within three gear shifts. The shoulder is not a travel lane.

You know, I noticed that nearly 95% of the time there is an exit ramp either just before or just after someone stops on the shoulder. I have always wondered why the hell they don't just get off at either one. Smooth brain...haha, I am going to have put that in my arsenal.

I wonder if that was the story last week on I-10 in far west Texas. I sat in stopped traffic for at least an hour behind this one. IMG_1928.jpeg

That attitude might you tangled up into something you could've easily avoided. Even if it wasn't your fault do you want that headache in your life? Why? Angry cause they're stupid or just too lazy to move over and allow room? Move over and give them room otherwise there's two stupid decisions there..

Dollar to a donut, if the FMCSA dropped the 30 minute break requirement, there would be 90% less drivers sitting on the shoulder. They drive right up to 7 hour 59 minutes and then pull over, no matter where they are.

I don't understand why so many drivers hate themselves so much that they don't think they're worth the same half hour break as a minimum wage employee is guaranteed while working three times harder.
